China Long Term Private Visa (S1 Visa)

1 China Visa Application Form
#  Please read the instructions for filling out the form. This is the most important part of your application.
#  On 1.17, next to the company name,  please write down what type of business the company does.

2 Original Passport
# Must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of application.
# Must have at least 2 blank VISA PAGES available.

3 One Photo
# Passport Style, 2*2 inches.
# Must have been taken within the last 6 months.  (Please DO NOT affix the photo to the application form)
# Must be white background

4 Invitation Letter AND Identification Proof  (must submit a,b,and c)
a, A invitation letter. Please use the China Visa invitation letter template.
b, A photocopy of the inviter’s passport. (Photo page and signature page)
c, A photocopy of  China permanent residence permit.

# The invitation letter can be faxed, emailed in most cases.
# Chinese consulate may ask for original copy in a very special  case.

5  Family relationship proof.
# Original AND photocopy of certification (marriage certificate, birth certificate, certification of kinship issued by Public Security Bureau or notarized certification of kinship) showing the relationship of immediate family members between applicants and inviting individual.
# “immediate family members ” refers to spouses, parents, sons or daughters under the age of 18, parents-in-law.

6 Invitation Letter from inviter’s employer
# The letter must be printed on a company letterhead paper, the letter must be signed by the legal representative, THE LETTER MUST BE STAMPED. (Chinese Company stamp).
# The invitation letter can be faxed, emailed in most cases.
# Chinese consulate may ask for original copy in a very special  case.

China S1 visa is a Single entry visa. S1 Visa holder must apply for a residence permit at the local public security authorities within 30 days of entry into China.

In most cases, the invitation letter can be photocopied, faxed, or scanned and emailed. However, in some cases, the Chinese Consulate may ask the applicant to submit an original copy and/or additional documents or go to the Consulate for an interview.
